What are your Covid-19-Related Policies?Mind-Body Wonders™ is committed to the safety of events’ participants. We closely monitor the local dynamics of cases of COVID-19 and follow CDC guidelines. The space used for our workshop is well ventilated with natural air and outdoors lunch, reception accommodations could be provided, weather permitting. As of April 25, we are adapting the following COVID-19 policy: 1. We are asking you to refrain from the Workshop if you have a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis or have symptoms that may be attributed to COVID-19, including fever over 100.4F, cough, chills, sore throat, nausea or diarrhea and others, unless attributed to chronic conditions. 2. We will do symptom screener at the door asking each participant and instructor to fill out the form. 3. We will strongly encourage wearing masks during the event, although they are not mandatory. 4. When participants engage in group (couple’s) interactions and one of the participant is wearing mask, it is mandatory to wear mask for other members of this group. 5. If you incur COVID-19 after the event, we are asking you to promptly inform us so we could notify members of the workshop. Do I have to have prior dance experience to attend this WorkshopAbsolutely not! We can not expect people to have experience in all of the three dance styles, thus, we target the audience who has not experience in these dances before.
-
I know enough about one or more dance styles presented during the Workshop. Shall I plan to attend only a part of the Workshop? This workshop is designed with the idea much wider than purely a dance technique. It focuses on mindfulness and the ability to use dance move as a way to practice life skills. Thus, even if you have practiced one or more of the dance styles for several years, you would be able to see the dance moves in a new way and apply your insights beyond the dance floor.
-
Can I bring my child to the Workshop? The Workshop is geared towards adults over 18 year old. If you child is younger than that and you believe that he/she will benefit from the workshop, please contact us directly.
-
Do I need a partner to attend the Workshop? No. Some of the dances are couple's, while others are solo or group. When dancing in a couple, partners will be offered to rotate, if they choose to and will be acting in both roles, as a leader and a follower.
